Biography

Fernando Cruz-Roldán received the B.S. degree from the Universidad de Alcalá (UA), in 1990, the M. S. degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), in 1996, and Ph. D. degree from the U.A., in 2000, all in Telecommunication Engineering.

He joined the Department of Ingeniería de Circuitos y Sistemas (UPM), in 1990, where from 1993 to 2003, he was an Assistant Professor. From 1998 to February 2003, he was a Visiting Lecturer at Universidad de Alcalá. In March 2003, he joined the Universidad de Alcalá, Spain, as an Associate Professor, and since November 2009, he has been a Professor with the Department of Teoría de la Señal y Comunicaciones, Universidad de Alcalá. His research interests include digital signal processing, filter design, and multirate systems (filter banks).
