As University lecturer
                    and researcher in the Telecommunications field,
                    spreading knowledge and scientific and technical
                    results is one of my duties. In this web page, the
                    interested student, researcher or passer-by will
                    have the opportunity to find and share up-to-date
                    publications and lecturing info.

Francisco J. Escribano received his degree in Telecommunications Engineering at ETSIT -UPM, Spain, and his PhD degree at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Spain. He is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Signal Theory and Communications of Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Spain, where he is involved in several undergraduate, graduate and master courses in Telecommunications Engineering. He has been Visiting Researcher at the Politectnico di Torino, Italy, and at the EPFL, Switzerland. His research activities are focused on Communications Systems and Information Theory, mainly on the topics of channel coding, modulation and wireless communications. He has been a remarkable contributor in successfully applying Chaos Theory to modern digital communications.
Among his personal interests, he is an active musician, both as choir singer and French horn player. Moreover, he takes part in online publications about artistic and literary criticism.
